Think bio-hazard.
It’s alien.
It’s hollow.
It’s packed with microbes and alien flora.
When it hit’s the sea, it will spread an earth transforming catastrophy.
All current earth inhabitants will succumb.
The arrival later of the alien origin beings will find a planet that accomodates their biology.
R.I.P. earthlings et alia.
Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed

It’s probably space crap, like from the toilet. Ha ha, In a way I’m not really joking. They have had airplane toilet stuff fall to earth... and those guys are sometimes up there for six months straight.

Oh, yeah. And rolled under, got back up and promptly fell off again.
Though tbh, I find those who insist aliens do not and cannot exist to be just as stupid as those who immediatly see the cause of something to be aliens.
I think my favorite is the one who claims this is a piece of fabricated evidence because the Russians recently called for an investigation into the moon landings. You know, because "nickson" was a massive liar.

Those ones are at least sane options. There is far, far worse in those comments.

It’s is a statistical impossibility that other sentient life in the universe does not exist. The probability is so low that it is almost zero.

Yes, but the fun thing about statistics is they can be rendered pointless bullshit in the blink of an eye. What are the odds? Virtually nil, as you say. But almost zero is still greater than zero.
43% of all statistics are useless etc.
PS: if this wording looks wierd it's because I misinterpreted what you were saying at first. I thought you were saying there could be no other life. I was going to scratch this whole comment, but then I decided meh, works both ways.
